Description

Nursing Contract Opportunity - Hilo, Hawaii

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 15 weeks

Job Description

Provide med/surg level care for patients 18 and over
May float to surgical pediatrics or transitional care units
Work various shift lengths and days; flexibility required
Day or night shift availability (to be determined)
Scheduled 36 hours per week after first full week of orientation
No guarantee of hours or shift preference

Required Licenses & Certifications

Active Hawaii RN license required by start of assignment
BLS required
ACLS preferred

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2+ years of med/surg or higher level of care experience

Additional Information

Must arrive the Thursday before start date for employee health appointment
Orientation included during the first week
Equipment used: Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, chest tubes, etc.
Nurse to patient ratio: 1:5
Dress code: Professional nursing attire, closed toe shoes, no specific scrub colors required
