Description

Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med-Surg Acute Care/OBS Unit

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an Acute Care/Med-Surg Adult setting.
Utilize specialized knowledge related to critical disease states to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Support growing census due to increased orthopedic surgeries, hybrid cath lab procedures, and acute/chronic illnesses.
Work 12-hour day shifts including weekend rotations.
Participate in call rotation, taking 1 call shift per 2-week period as needed.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Acute Care, Med-Surg, Telemetry, or similar.
Current RN license valid in Colorado.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association.
Flu vaccine required (no exemptions).
Must agree to call rotation.

Additional Information

Traveler housing available: newly remodeled studio apartments and small one-bedroom units near the hospital (fully furnished, utilities included).
Radius rule: Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility.

BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
