Job Opportunity: Nursing (Contract)

Location: King City, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Key Requirements

• Specialty: Nursing
• Years of Experience Required: 2 years
• Licensure: Active California nursing license required
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required
• Experience:

  • Prior travel experience required
• Skills:

  • Cerner electronic health record experience is a must
  • Ability to care for non-critical pediatric patients
  • Willingness to float to Skilled Nursing Department

Work Details

• Contract type: Temporary/Contract
• Shifts: 12-hour shifts, with overtime paid for hours worked beyond 40 hours per week
• Hospital may call off up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract period due to census changes
• Overtime and holiday pay policies apply
• Missed meals and breaks require prior supervisor approval

Additional Information

• Housing can be somewhat difficult to find in the area
• Floating to Skilled Nursing Department is required as part of the role

This position is suitable for nurses with at least 2 years of experience, who have prior travel experience, and are certified in ACLS and PALS. Experience with Cerner and pediatric care is essential.
