Registered Nurse (RN) – MedSurg

Requirements:
Minimum 2 years total RN experience; at least 1 year in critical care
Active RN license (no pending licenses) or active Compact license
Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Effective communication skills

Unit Specifics:
Number of Beds: 26
Patient Ratios: 1:6 or team nursing model 1:9
Staffing: Charge nurse, unit secretary (days), 2 PCTs
Equipment: Alaris IV pumps
Documentation System: Meditech
Scheduling: Every other weekend required
Floating: May float to other MedSurg units
Patient Experience Expectations: Hourly purposeful rounding, AIDET, mandatory bedside shift report

Dress Code:
Royal, Galaxy, Pewter Gray, or White scrubs
