Description

Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room

Requirements:
Active and in good standing TN RN license or active Compact RN license
Minimum 2 years RN Emergency Room experience
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (Preferred: TNCC, ENPC)

Must Haves:
Ability to work in a fast-paced ER setting
Strong assessment and critical decision-making skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Unit Specifics:
Number of Beds: 21
Patient Ratios: 4:1
Staffing: Unit Secretary available; no techs

Equipment: Standard ER equipment
Documentation System: Meditech

Scheduling: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period
Floating: May be required to float to the FSER site

Patient Experience Expectations: Expectations reviewed and signed on day one; goal of 75%

Dress Code:Black or Royal Blue scrubs
