Procedures Performed on Unit:
Central line placements
Arterial line placements
Paracentesis
Thoracentesis
Intubations

Unit Specifics:
Number of Beds: 6
Patient Ratios: Mainly 2:1, some 1:1 and 3:1
Staffing: 1 Nurse Tech
Equipment: Arctic Sun, Continuous EEG
Documentation System: Meditech

Scheduling: 36 hours per week, every other weekend
Floating: Floats to ICU overflow unit

Patient Experience: Maintain positive patient experience standards

Dress Code:
Galaxy Blue or Pewter scrubs

Additional Information:
