Job Order: Registered Nurse – NICU (Level II+)

Location: Hendersonville, TN
Unit: NICU – The Birth Center
Schedule: 3×12 Hour Shifts
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of NICU RN experience
License Required: Active TN or Compact RN License (unrestricted)
Certifications Required: BLS, NRP (STABLE encouraged)

Must Have Requirements
2+ years of recent NICU RN experience (Level II or higher)
Proficiency with PIV insertion, NG placement and feedings
Experience assisting with newborn procedures and daily care of preterm/sick infants
Strong assessment skills with ability to recognize early changes in neonates
Ability to work collaboratively in a family-centered care model

Unit Specifics
Number of Beds: 11
Patient Ratios: 2:1 to 3:1
Staffing Model: Charge RN (attends deliveries/admissions) + 2 staff RNs
Equipment: Vapotherm, Avea vents, Giraffe beds, Alaris pumps, syringe feeding pumps
Charting System: CPN & Meditech

Scheduling: 3×12-hour shifts per week
Floating: No floating outside NICU

Patient Experience Expectations: Family-centered care; parents involved in care
