Number of Beds: 20 · Patient Ratios: 2:1 for CCU patients Type of equipment: GE monitors, Alaris pumps, Puritan Bennet ventilators
Documentation system: Meditech
Scheduling requirements: 36 hours/wk, 3 weekend shifts/4 weeks
Floating policy: Contract labor floats before core staff
Patient Experience requirements: at least 1 year critical care Must have: 1 year critical care experience, Meditech experience, ACLS, NIH certification Advanced skills needed: Ability to manage: arterial lines, venous/arterial sheaths/cardiovascular & vasopressor drips/ventilated patients Procedures performed on unit: Bedside central line placement, Massive transfusion protocol,
