Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro Medicine ICU

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neuro Medicine Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment providing specialized care to patients with complex neurological conditions.

Position Details
Unit: Neuro Medicine ICU
Schedule: 36 hours per week (full-time)
Shifts: Day/Evening/Night rotation (D/E/N)
Additional Requirements:
Holidays as required
On-call and callback responsibilities
Charge nurse duties based on unit needs
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill neurological patients
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Respond effectively in emergency and rapidly changing situations
Serve as charge nurse when assigned, supporting unit operations and staff
Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York State or eligible)
Experience in ICU and/or neuro care preferred
Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
