Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ED)
Location: Rochester, New York

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department in Rochester, NY. This state-of-the-art facility handles over 100,000 patient visits annually and is one of the busiest trauma centers in the country. As the only Level I trauma hospital in the region, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care to a diverse and complex patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide emergency nursing care in a high-acuity, high-volume ED setting
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for a diverse population
Assist in managing boarder patients as needed
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to changing clinical situations in a dynamic environment

Important Note:

This Emergency Department is not able to support first-time travel nurses

Requirements:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – New York State ONLY
Minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Department experience
Previous travel ER experience required
Telemetry experience required

Certifications (Required):

BLS – American Heart Association (AHA)
ACLS – American Heart Association (AHA)
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
