A respected regional hospital is seeking an experienced ICU RN to join a high-acuity critical care team. This unit cares for adult and geriatric patients with complex, life-threatening conditions including CHF, COPD, MI, trauma, sepsis, ARDS, and stroke. Nurses work in a collaborative environment with tech support and maintain a 1:1–1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio.

What You’ll Do:

Provide comprehensive critical care nursing to a 100% inpatient adult population

Manage advanced therapies such as IABP, TTM, pacing, and moderate sedation

Deliver full respiratory support including vents, CPAP/BiPAP, chest tubes, RSI medications, and trach care

Perform advanced cardiac interventions including cardioversion/defibrillation, rapid transfusions, and 12-lead EKG interpretation

Manage complex lines and equipment: PICC/central lines, triple lumen catheters, drains, feeding tubes, wound vacs, epidural/PCA pumps, traction/halo care

Titrate critical drips such as Levophed, Vasopressin, Epinephrine, Cardizem, Milrinone, Insulin, Heparin, Propofol, Dobutamine, Nitroprusside, Nicardipine, and more

Float to MSP as needed (minimal)

No call required

Scrub colors: Green, Purple, Brown, Black, Grey, or White

Supported Critical Care Types: Cardiac, Medical, Neuro, Surgical, Trauma, Burns

Facility policy: 2 shift cancellation requirement per 13-week contract before guaranteed hours apply
