Description

Tripod Partners is seeking an experienced Cardiac OR Registered Nurse to join a highly specialized Adult Cardiac Operating Room team. This fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment provides care for patients undergoing some of the most advanced cardiac procedures, including CABG, TAVI/TAVR, heart failure interventions, ventricular assist device (VAD) implantation, ECMO, artificial heart procedures, and heart transplantation.

The ideal candidate will be able to independently scrub and circulate complex adult cardiac surgeries, including CABG, structural heart procedures such as Bentall operations, minimally invasive cardiac surgeries including Mini Aortic Valve Replacement, and advanced heart failure cases utilizing devices such as Impella. Experience with heart transplant and TAVI/TAVR procedures is preferred but not required.

Requirements

Applicants must hold an active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license and have a minimum of two years of recent operating room experience. Previous experience in a Level I Trauma Center is preferred. Candidates must be proficient in both scrubbing and circulating cardiac surgical cases and have telemetry experience.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) are required.

Tripod Partners USA Job ID #220. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
