Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Adult Cardiac Operating Room (OR) team in Rochester, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team delivering advanced cardiac surgical care.

About the Unit

The Adult Cardiac OR provides care to a diverse cardiac patient population, including procedures such as:

Coronary Artery Bypass Grafts (CABGs)

Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantations (TAVIs)

Advanced Heart Failure therapies, including VADs, ECMO, Artificial Hearts, and Heart Transplants

Our team uses a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to deliver exceptional care to patients of all ages.

Job Responsibilities

Scrub and circulate for adult cardiac surgical procedures

Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Maintain a safe, sterile, and efficient operating room environment

Job Requirements

Active New York State RN License (required)

Minimum of two (2) years of Operating Room experience

Experience in a Level I Trauma Center strongly preferred

Demonstrated ability to scrub and circulate in the OR

Certifications

BLS – American Heart Association (required)

Tripod Partners USA Job ID #36. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
