Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Electrophysiology (EP) Lab team in Rochester, New York. The EP RN plays a critical role in supporting diagnostic electrophysiology studies, ablations, and cardiac device procedures. This position requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians, anesthesia, vendors, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare patients and equipment for diagnostic electrophysiology procedures and interventional treatments
Ensure all EP lab equipment and instrumentation are functioning properly prior to procedures
Assist physicians during EP studies, ablations, and device implants, including pacing support
Serve as circulator at the sterile field, assisting with patient and equipment preparation
Maintain fluids for ablation catheters and assist with ablation systems as needed
Remain patient-focused during procedures, supporting anesthesia, monitoring patient status, and providing backup pacing during implants
Monitor and document procedure data in Epic in real time
Communicate effectively with physicians, charge nurses, in-room staff, and third-party vendors to ensure all supplies, equipment, and personnel are available
Facilitate room turnover and support on-time case starts to ensure efficient patient flow
Identify and communicate any procedural issues to the physician or specialist promptly
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York State or eligible)
Proficiency in moderate sedation
Experience documenting procedures in Epic (required)
Strong communication and coordination skills to collaborate with MDs, anesthesia, vendors, and EP lab staff
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced procedural environment

Tripod Partners USA Job ID #39. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
