Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our imaging team in Rochester, New York. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nuclear medicine imaging and therapy services while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and understanding throughout the diagnostic and treatment process.
Key Responsibilities
Review patient history and physician orders to ensure appropriate imaging plans and interventions.
Educate patients on procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
Position patients and perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures using age-appropriate techniques, accommodating vision, hearing, and mobility needs.
Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures in accordance with established standards of practice, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
Analyze imaging results for quality and accuracy; identify and resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures as necessary.
Enter, transmit, and report scan results accurately and in a timely manner.
Order, prepare, administer, store, and properly dispose of radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with all applicable regulations and protocols.
Monitor patient condition continuously and respond appropriately to changes in patient status.
Maintain inventory and ensure adequate supplies in the Clinical Nuclear Medicine areas.
Job Requirements
Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by the NMTCB or
Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with Nuclear Medicine (NM) certification by ARRT
New York State License
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Minimum of 2 years of nuclear medicine experience

Tripod Partners USA Job ID #40. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
