Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical team in Cooperstown, New York. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive clinical environment while serving a close-knit community.

Responsibilities

Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients

Perform patient assessments, develop and implement nursing care plans

Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols

Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition

Collaborate with physicians, care managers, and interdisciplinary team members

Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge plans

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record

Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York (or eligibility for licensure)

Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN or BSN)

Previous Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred (new graduates encouraged to apply)

Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred or willingness to obtain)

Tripod Partners USA Job ID #50. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
