Job Title: Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist
Location: Rochester, New York
Schedule: Full-Time | 5x8-hour Day Shifts
On-Call: Required (on-call, callback, and holidays per unit needs)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to join our growing team in Rochester, NY. The IR Tech will assist physicians in performing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient care, safety, and imaging quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures

Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies

Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning

Operate imaging equipment in compliance with regulatory and safety standards

Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control protocols

Participate in on-call, callback, and holiday coverage as required by unit needs

Accurately document procedures and patient information

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology

ARRT certification required (VI or CI preferred or willingness to obtain)

Current NYS Radiologic Technologist license (or eligibility)

BLS certification required

Prior Interventional Radiology experience preferred

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
