🌍 Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Palliative Care Team
📍 Location: Rochester, New York, USA
🕒 Contract: Travel Assignment

Join a compassionate healthcare team making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. We are currently seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to support a dedicated Palliative Care Team in Rochester, New York.

Position Overview

The Travel RN will provide high-quality, patient-centred nursing care to individuals with serious or life-limiting illnesses. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, you will focus on comfort, symptom management, and supporting patients and families through complex care journeys.

Schedule

36 or 48 hours per week

Rotating Day / Evening / Night shifts

Weekends and holidays required

On-call duties based on unit needs

Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive palliative nursing care

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans

Manage pain and symptom control interventions

Provide emotional support and education to patients and families

Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and interdisciplinary teams

Maintain accurate clinical documentation

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York State or eligibility required)

Minimum 2 years RN experience

Previous Palliative Care, Hospice, Oncology, or Med-Surg experience preferred

BLS certification (ACLS preferred)

Strong communication and compassionate care skills

Travel nursing experience desirable

Tripod Partners USA Job ID #88. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
