Registered Nurse (RN) – Orthopedic Unit
Location: Rochester, New York
Schedule: Day / Evening / Night Rotating Shifts

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic Orthopedic Unit in Rochester, New York. This specialized unit focuses on orthopedic trauma, spinal surgery, and elective orthopedic surgical patients within a department recognized for innovation, research, and clinical excellence.

Our orthopedic team provides a collaborative, supportive, and engaging work environment with strong opportunities for continuing education and professional development. Nurses joining this unit will become part of an enthusiastic team dedicated to delivering high-quality patient-centered care.

Schedule & Coverage

Day / Evening / Night rotating shift schedules

Floating as required

Weekends and holidays as scheduled

On-call and callback responsibilities

Charge duties based on unit needs

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to orthopedic and post-surgical patients

Monitor patients requiring telemetry services

Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Support a team-oriented patient care environment

Qualifications

Active New York State RN License

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience

Orthopedic nursing experience required

Telemetry experience required

Experience in a Level I Trauma facility preferred

BLS certification (AHA required)

ACLS certification (AHA required)

Tripod Partners USA Job ID #91. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
