Position Overview:
NorTek Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a well-established neurology clinic in Sterling, Illinois. The ideal provider will have experience in managing high-acuity neurology patients and will work closely with the clinic’s multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Management: Manage neurology patients with a variety of conditions, including but not limited to chronic neurological diseases, seizures, migraines, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease.
Collaborative Care: Work closely with neurologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and treatment plans.
Neurological Assessments: Conduct thorough neurological assessments, including history-taking, physical exams, and diagnostic testing.
Patient Education: Provide education to patients and families on managing neurological conditions, lifestyle changes, medication management, and treatment options.
Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Team Support: Collaborate with medical assistants, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes.
Position Requirements:
Must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP).
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in neurology or managing high-acuity neurology patients in an outpatient clinic.
Comfortable managing chronic neurological conditions such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and stroke recovery.
Strong ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare providers.
Reliability and professionalism in a fast-paced clinic environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive Hourly Rate: $90–$100 per hour (DOE)
