Position Overview:
NorTek Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a well-established pulmonology clinic in Sterling, Illinois. The ideal provider will have experience managing high-acuity pulmonary patients and will work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Management: Manage patients with a variety of pulmonary conditions, including COPD, asthma, pneumonia, interstitial lung diseases, and sleep disorders.
Collaborative Care: Work closely with pulmonologists and other healthcare providers to develop comprehensive care plans for patients.
Pulmonary Assessments: Perform detailed patient assessments, including history-taking, physical exams, and diagnostic testing such as pulmonary function tests (PFTs) and sleep studies.
Patient Education: Provide education to patients and families on managing chronic pulmonary conditions, medications, lifestyle changes, and treatment plans.
Clinical Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Team Support: Work alongside medical assistants, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow and optimal care delivery.
Position Requirements:
Must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP).
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in pulmonology or managing pulmonary patients in an outpatient clinic.
Experience with chronic pulmonary diseases such as COPD, asthma, and other respiratory conditions.
Strong ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare providers.
Reliability and professionalism in a fast-paced clinic environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive Hourly Rate: $90–$100 per hour (DOE)
