Position Overview
NorTek Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a well-established outpatient physical therapy clinic in Stanwood, Washington. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, one-on-one patient care in a supportive, team-centered environment. The ideal candidate will have outpatient experience, strong communication skills, and an interest in leveraging hybrid care technology to enhance patient outcomes and work–life balance.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver 1-on-1, 45-minute outpatient physical therapy sessions both in person and through secure hybrid platforms
• Treat a diverse caseload including orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and home exercise programs
• Utilize AI-powered documentation and workflow tools to ensure accurate, timely charting
• Educate, motivate, and empower patients throughout their rehabilitation journey
• Collaborate closely with physical therapists, support staff, and clinic leadership to ensure optimal outcomes
• Participate in clinic growth initiatives and professional development opportunities as desired
Required Qualifications
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted Washington State PTA License (required)
• Certification:
o CPR Certification (required)
• Experience:
o Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience preferred
o Experience treating orthopedic and post-surgical patients in an outpatient setting
• Other Requirements:
o Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
o Comfort working in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment
o Interest in hybrid care models and technology-enabled patient engagement
o Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care
Work Schedule
• Work Hours: Full-time outpatient schedule with flexible scheduling options to support work–life balance
Compensation & Benefits
• Salary Range: $60,000 – $80,000 per year, depending on experience
• Monthly performance bonus
