Description

NorTek Medical Staffing is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a specialized Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) clinic with Rincon Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation in Sacramento, California. This role supports the evaluation, treatment, and ongoing management of patients with traumatic brain injuries and related neurological conditions in an outpatient, team-based setting.

Position Overview

The NP/PA will provide comprehensive clinical care for patients recovering from traumatic brain injury, working closely with physicians and an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. This position includes full training in neurology and TBI-focused medicine, making it ideal for providers seeking to build or expand expertise in brain injury and neuro-rehabilitation care.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations

Assess, diagnose, and manage symptoms related to traumatic brain injury

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans under established clinical protocols

Monitor cognitive, behavioral, and functional progress over time

Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic health record

Collaborate with physicians, therapists, athletic trainers, and clinical support staff
