Required Qualifications
Active Texas Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
National certification:
NP: AANP or ANCC
PA: NCCPA
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in medical weight loss or obesity medicine
Strong experience prescribing and managing weight loss medications (GLP-1s required)
DEA license (or ability to obtain)
Excellent clinical assessment, documentation, and patient communication skills
Ability to manage an independent patient panel confidently
Required Qualifications (Must Have — No Exceptions)
• Active Texas Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license
• National Certification
NP: AANP or ANCC
PA: NCCPA
• Minimum 2–3 full years of hands-on injectable experience (cosmetic, medical weight loss, hormone therapy, etc. — required)
• Minimum 2 years of direct experience in medical weight loss or obesity medicine
• Strong experience prescribing and managing weight loss medications — GLP-1s REQUIRED (Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, etc.)
• DEA license (or ability to obtain quickly)
• Excellent clinical assessment, documentation, and patient communication skills
• Ability to confidently manage an independent patient panel
