Position Overview
NorTek Medical Staffing is seeking a compassionate and motivated Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) for a full-time opportunity in Bend, Oregon. This role focuses on helping children with developmental delays, disabilities, and mobility challenges reach their highest level of independence and participation in daily life.
This position is ideal for a therapist who is passionate about pediatric care, values flexibility, and enjoys working in a collaborative, therapist-driven environment. You will provide services across clinic, community, and home-based settings while partnering closely with families and interdisciplinary team members.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Evaluation & Treatment
Evaluate motor development, strength, coordination, balance, and mobility in pediatric patients
Develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving functional movement and independence
Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and adaptive equipment as appropriate
Provide interventions targeting gross motor skills, gait training, and developmental milestones
Family Education & Support
Educate families and caregivers on home programs and strategies to support development
Provide guidance on positioning, mobility, and functional skill carryover
Collaboration & Care Coordination
Work collaboratively with occupational therapists, behavioral health providers, and other specialists
Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and team meetings
Support children in natural environments including clinic, home, and community settings
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Track patient progress and update treatment plans as needed
Follow professional, ethical, and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Current, active Oregon Physical Therapist license (or eligibility)
Ability to practice in good standing with no restrictions
CPR certification
Strong communication, organization, and patient/family engagement skills
Passion for pediatric rehabilitation
Preferred Experience
Experience working with infants, children, or adolescents
Background in outpatient pediatrics, early intervention, or community-based therapy
Interest or experience in diverse therapy environments (clinic, home, or community settings)
Work Schedule
Full-time position
On-site and community-based services in Bend, OR
Flexible scheduling based on caseload and service model
No relocation assistance provided
Non-local candidates not eligible
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $50,000 – $100,000 annually (based on caseload and schedule)
