NorTek Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Dental Hygienist for a full-time opportunity in Abilene, Texas. Key Responsibilities
Perform professional dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance
Take and assess digital dental radiographs (X-rays)
Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and chart clinical findings
Provide patient education on oral hygiene, disease prevention, and home care techniques
Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants
Support dentists with diagnostic and clinical procedures as needed
Maintain strict infection control and sterilization standards
Qualifications
Required
Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Texas
Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
Current CPR/BLS certification
Strong clinical skills with a patient-centered approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Experience working in a private or general dental practice
Comfort with advanced dental technology and digital radiography systems
Familiarity with dental practice software (e.g., Dentrix or Eaglesoft)
Positive, team-oriented attitude and strong attention to detail
