Description
This position is for a Registered Nurse in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility in Peoria, Illinois. The RN is responsible for delivering hands-on patient care to residents—primarily older adults—while ensuring their medical, emotional, and daily living needs are met.
What the RN Does (Core Duties)
Provides direct patient care using the nursing process (assess → plan → implement → evaluate).
Assists residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as mobility, hygiene, and comfort.
Monitors patient conditions and responds to health changes using clinical judgment.
Coordinates with physicians and care teams to optimize treatment plans.
Documents patient status, treatments, and outcomes accurately.
Maintains a safe environment and follows infection-control standards.
Supports residents and families emotionally and psychologically.
Who They’re Looking For
Must hold an active Illinois RN license.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing (per job requirement).
Strong clinical reasoning and compassion for elderly patients.
Experience in long-term care preferred but new grads welcome.

Starting pay ≈ $43/hour (~$89K annually)
Shifts available: Day, Night, Weekend
