This hospice role allows you to provide critical end-of-life care to patients in their homes against the backdrop of Utah's red rock country. It is a high-pay, low-hour contract perfect for a nurse who values both clinical depth and time for exploration.

🚗 High Mileage Reimbursement: At $0.70/mile, this is close to the 2026 IRS standard (72.5¢), helping offset vehicle wear and tear.

🤝 Family-Centered Care: 1:1 care focusing on comfort, symptom management, and emotional support for families.

Perform comprehensive assessments and manage symptoms for hospice and palliative patients.

On-Call Responsibility: 1–3 shifts per week; must be able to respond to patient needs within 45 minutes.

Weekend Rotation: Includes 3 weekends of call over the 13-week contract.

EMR: Primarily uses Hospicesoft or Careficient for point-of-care documentation.

📋 Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 3 years of RN experience (Hospice or Home Health preferred).

Active License: Utah RN License (Utah is a Compact/NLC state).

Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (essential for rural home visits).

Schedule: Must be available for holidays and on-call rotations.
