Description

Position: - RN – Med/ Surge
Location: - AIKEN, SC
Contract Role:- 13 Weeks
Shift: - 3 x 12s Day shift
Note: Must live 100 miles away
Pay rate:- $58.00/hourly

Roles & Responsibility

"Fulfills the needs of the patients, families and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with his/her licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.
Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring and efficient manner.
Applies knowledge of growth and development over the life span necessary to provide age appropriate care.
Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret information in terms of the patients needs Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients
Makes initial assessment, and determines appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidence by appropriate documentation
Performs initial and ongoing assessment on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidence by appropriate documentation.
Completes admission assessment in time frame established, according to policy and procedures"

Requirements

NIHSS, BLS & ACLS
CPI - Required (Must be Crisis Prevention Institute's NCI With Advanced Physical Skills Training course)
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state/district - Required
Med/Surg Experience - Required: 2 Years
Cerner Experience Required
RN Experience - Required: 2 Years
Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required
BSN
