Description

Job Title: CVOR Registered Nurse
Location: 205 N EAST AVE, HFAMAINCMP JACKSON, MI 49201
Hours Per Week: 40.00 (4*10)
Shift Time: DAY SHIFT 06:30-17:00
Schedule Notes: * 13 week contract * REQUIRED: Minimum 2 years CVOR experience, Current active MI RN licensure, BLS certification from AHA.

• Hospital-based Cardiovascular Operating Room supporting complex cardiac surgical procedures

Job Summary: The CVOR Registered Nurse provides specialized perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgical procedures. This role supports safe, coordinated intraoperative care through clinical expertise, teamwork, and adherence to surgical and patient safety standards.

Responsibilities
• Provide perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Perform patient assessments and support intraoperative care delivery.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and the surgical team to ensure coordinated care.
• Document nursing care and communicate pertinent patient information to the care team.
• Support quality and safety practices within the CVOR environment.

Requirements: Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience – Required

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Required

Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required

License: Current Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License – Required
