Duration: 13 Weeks
Hours Per Week: 40.00 (5*8)
Shift Time: Varies - possibilities 9a-930p, 11a-1130p, 7a-630p, 3p-1130p, Could be a mix of 8 and 12 hour shifts

Job Summary: The MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation. This role focuses on patient safety, accurate imaging, equipment operation, and effective collaboration with radiologists and clinical teams.

Responsibilities
• Perform MRI scans in accordance with established protocols and physician directives.
• Position patients safely and appropriately to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
• Review patient histories and ensure MRI safety screening compliance.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain MRI equipment to ensure image quality and patient safety.
• Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and interdisciplinary staff.

Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience – Required
• ARRT registration in MRI – Required
• Candidates registered in Radiography must obtain ARRT MRI certification within 2 years of hire
• Associate’s Degree in Applied Science – Required
• Must be open to a mix of 8- and 12-hour shifts
• Must be available for potential weekend coverage
• Interview conducted via MS Teams
• Block scheduling is open
• On-call is not required

Education: Associate’s Degree in Applied Science – Required

Certifications: ARRT MRI Certification – Required (ARRT Radiography accepted if MRI registration is obtained within required timeframe)
