Hours Per Week: 36.00 (3*12)
Shift Time: NIGHT SHIFT 8:00 PM-8:30 AM
Schedule Notes: 3 shifts per week, 1 hour lunch per shift and every other weekend 1 contract- no extension

Job Summary: The Telemetry Registered Nurse provides focused nursing care to adult patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. This role emphasizes rhythm interpretation, patient assessment, and coordinated care delivery in an inpatient telemetry setting.

Responsibilities
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing patient monitoring.
• Administer medications and treatments per clinical protocols.
• Provide IV therapy and support procedures involving conscious sedation.
• Document nursing care accurately and communicate clinical updates to the care team.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.

Requirements
• Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical experience – Required
• Minimum 1 year of Telemetry experience – Required
• IV insertion and phlebotomy experience – Required (2 years)
• Conscious sedation experience – Required (2 years)
• Single contract assignment with no extension

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Required

Certifications
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
• AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Required

License
• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License – Required
• Primary Source Verification through NYSED – Required

Facility Details
• Hospital-based Telemetry unit supporting adult inpatient care
