Shift Time: DAY SHIFT 8AM - 4PM
Schedule Notes: ARDMS Needed Preferred sono breast experience. 2 years of ultrasound exp.
Contract: 8 weeks

Job Summary: The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations to support accurate clinical assessment and patient care. This role emphasizes image quality, patient safety, and effective collaboration with providers in an outpatient or hospital-based imaging setting.

Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients to obtain high-quality images.
• Review patient history and verify exam orders prior to scanning.
• Ensure proper operation and basic maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and image records.
• Communicate effectively with patients and clinical staff.

Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound technologist experience – Required
• ARDMS registration – Required
• Breast ultrasound experience – Preferred
• Proficiency with computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Outlook)
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent – Required

Certifications: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) – Required
