📋 Position Details:

Specialty: Cath Lab RN / Interventional Radiology / Diabetes Educator

Location: Hilo, HI

Schedule: 40 hours per week (May include variable shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call).

Contract: 13 Weeks

🩺 Key Responsibilities:

Diabetes Education: Provide specialized instruction to patients and families living with diabetes mellitus.

Procedural Care: Utilize the nursing process to care for patients in clinical and procedural settings (Cath Lab/IR).

Medication & Treatment: Administer prescribed treatments and medications according to strict standards of care.

Patient Advocacy: Address clinical, psychosocial, and financial issues as a patient advocate and educator.

Flexibility: Willingness to float to various units based on clinical competency and hospital needs.

🩺 Requirements:

Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).

Licensure: Active RN License (Listing mentions IL/WI—please verify Hawaii reciprocity/temporary licensing requirements).

Certification: CDCES (Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist) certification required.

CPR: Approved CPR certification (required within 90 days of hire).
