📋 Position Details:
Specialty: Physical Therapist (PT)

Location: 230 Dalton Street, Haines, AK 99827

Schedule: 40 hours per week | Day Shift | Includes rotating weekends.

Contract: 13 Weeks

Start Date: ASAP (Dependent on fingerprinting).

🩺 Key Responsibilities:
Assessment & Treatment: Conduct PT evaluations and establish individualized plans of care for patients of all ages (newborn to geriatric).

Patient Education: Develop home exercise programs and advise families on self-care and independence.

Collaboration: Partner with clinical teams, participate in rounds, and ensure medical equipment is arranged for patients.

Outreach: Occasionally provide services off-site or in remote locations, requiring travel in varying weather conditions.

🩺 Requirements:
Licensure: Must have an active Alaska PT License at time of submission.

Education: Master’s or Doctorate in PT from an accredited program (Baccalaureate with 2 years of experience also accepted).

Certifications: Current AHA BLS and a valid Driver’s License.

Health: Must have Flu Vaccinations.

Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in demanding, sometimes remote, environments.

Your start date will be no less than 5 weeks after your fingerprint cards are received at SEARHC in Juneau.
