📋 Position Details:
Specialty: Med-Surg Adult RN

Location: Carbondale, IL (SIH Memorial Hospital)

Schedule: 40 hours per week | Day Shift

Contract: 13 Weeks

Start Date: ASAP

🩺 Key Responsibilities:
Holistic Assessment: Assess patients’ mental, physical, and spiritual needs to develop a comprehensive plan of care.

Clinical Judgment: Use high-level nursing judgment to recognize and report subtle changes in patient conditions.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Partner with physicians, therapists, and specialists to implement and evaluate individualized care plans.

Patient Advocacy: Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and their families, acting as a resource and advocate throughout their stay.

Compliance: Adhere to Core Measure responsibilities and maintain impeccable medical records.

🩺 Requirements:
Licensure: Must have an active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License.

Certifications: * Current AHA BLS is mandatory.

ACLS is highly preferred (and required for specific units like Stepdown or PCU).

Experience: 1–2 years of recent Med-Surg experience in a hospital setting.

Skills: Strong professional communication and conflict-management skills to foster a healthy workplace environment

CloudinfraIT Inc Job ID #293350. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
