Are you a Stepdown/SDU professional with a passion for cardiology? This 13-week assignment offers a high-acuity experience in a rural setting, focusing on cardiovascular rule-outs, post-surgical ICU transfers, and antiarrhythmic management.

⚖️ Manageable Ratios: Maintain a 1:4 ratio, allowing for high-quality, individualized patient care and focused monitoring.
💼 Professional Flexibility: Float to Med/Surg or the ER to assist with CVCU/Med-Surg holds, expanding your clinical footprint.
📋 Position Details:
Specialty: Cardiovascular Stepdown (CVCU) / Progressive Care
Location: New Lisbon, WI
Schedule: 36 hours per week | 12-hour Night shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
Scheduling Note: NO block scheduling. Flexibility is required to meet unit needs.
Contract: 13 Weeks.
Start Date: ASAP.
🩺 Key Clinical Responsibilities:
Cardiac Management: Care for patients with STEMI/NSTEMI, CHF, and those requiring antiarrhythmic IV medications.
Post-Op Recovery: Manage Cardiothoracic surgery patients transitioning out of the ICU.
Respiratory Support: Proficient in Noninvasive Ventilation management.
Vascular Care: Monitor and treat patients with peripheral vascular compromise.
Floating: Be prepared to float to Med-Surg or ER to manage specialized holds and provide critical support where needed.
🩺 Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 2 years of Stepdown Unit (SDU) or CVCU experience is required.
Licensure: Active Wisconsin RN License or Multi-State Compact License.
Certifications: * Current AHA BLS and ACLS are mandatory.
NIHSS certification is highly preferred for cardiac/stroke rule-outs.
Skills: Proficiency in telemetry, drip management, and cardiovascular physical assessments.

CloudinfraIT Inc Job ID #293395. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
