🏖️ Travel Med-Surg/PCU RN | Havre, MT | Start ASAP 🏖️

(Important Licensing Note: While the location is Havre, Montana, this specific contract requires an active Hawaii RN License prior to the start date. This is a common requirement for facilities under the same healthcare system or specific regional staffing partnerships.)

Are you a flexible Registered Nurse ready for a 13-week assignment in the "Crown of the Continent"? This role in Havre, MT, is ideal for a clinician who enjoys the pace of a community hospital and the versatility of floating between units.

✨ Why You’ll Love This Assignment:
🏔️ Big Sky Country: Havre is a charming railroad town located on Montana's "Hi-Line," offering proximity to the Fresno Reservoir and the scenic Bears Paw Mountains.

🏥 Team-Based Care: Work within a collaborative environment at Northern Montana Hospital, where RNs are easily identifiable by their bright red tags and act as leaders for a team of LPNs and CNAs.

⚖️ Variety in Practice: Keep your skills sharp by floating between PCU (Progressive Care) and Med-Surg as census fluctuates.

💰 Competitive Pay: Recent contracts in this region for high-acuity RNs range from $2,200 to $2,500+ per week.

📋 Position Details:
Specialty: Med-Surg / PCU Float RN (Listed under CNA LTC)

Location: Havre, MT (Northern Montana Hospital)

Schedule: 32–36 hours per week | Variable Shifts.

Contract: 13 Weeks.

Start Date: ASAP.

🩺 Key Responsibilities:
Unit Versatility: Provide primary care in the Med-Surg unit, with the ability to float to PCU during drops in census or high-acuity needs.

Critical Thinking: Manage adult patient populations with a focus on pre- and post-surgical care, cardiovascular rule-outs, and respiratory support.

Patient Advocacy: Assess physical, psychological, and social needs to develop and implement individualized plans of care.

Collaboration: Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery and discharge planning.

🩺 Requirements:
Licensure: Must have an active Hawaii RN License prior to contract start. (Montana is a compact state, but this specific posting mandates the HI license).

Certifications: Current AHA BLS is required; ACLS is mandatory for PCU floating.

Experience: Minimum 18 months of recent experience in an acute care setting (Med-Surg or PCU).

Flexibility: Must be willing to work consecutive weekends if required by the facility.
