This 13-week assignment is perfect for a versatile nurse who thrives in a "float" capacity, providing vital support across our Medical, Surgical Acute, and Cardiovascular units while enjoying the lush, tropical lifestyle of Hawaii’s largest island.

✨ **Assignment Highlights:**

- **Clinical Variety:** Actively float between the **Medical Unit (77 beds)**, **Laulima Surgical Acute (18 beds)**, and the **Cardiovascular Unit (15 beds)**.
- **Schedule:** Consistent **12-hour Night Shifts (18:45 – 07:15)** with 36 hours scheduled per week.
- **Balanced Ratios:** Work within standard night-shift ratios, ranging from 1:8 on Medical to 1:4 in the Cardiovascular Unit.
- **Uniform:** Professional **Red Scrubs**.
- **Lifestyle:** From the cascading Rainbow Falls to the black sand beaches and the gateway to Volcanoes National Park, Hilo is an adventurer’s paradise.

📋 **Highlighted Requirements:**

- **Experience:** Minimum **3 years of mandatory acute care experience** is required for this flex role.
- **Licensure:** Must have an active **Hawaii RN License** by the start of the assignment (apply immediately upon offer acceptance).
- **Certs:** Current **AHA BLS and ACLS** are mandatory (PALS, TNCC, or ENPC are highly preferred).
- **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in **Meditech EMR**, Pyxis, wound vacs, and managing chest tubes.
- **Flexibility:** Must be comfortable floating between various medical and surgical units as census dictates.
- **Vaccination:** Documented proof of immunity is required (medical/religious exemptions not accepted).
