📋 **Position Details:**
**Specialty:** Med-Surg Adult (Patients 18+)
**Location:** Hilo, HI
**Contract:** 13 Weeks
**Schedule:** 36 hours per week | **Day or Night Availability (TBD)**
**Flexibility:** Must be open to various shift lengths and days; no holiday RTO requests.

🩺 **Key Clinical Responsibilities:**
**Comprehensive Care:** Provide med-surg level nursing for a 50-bed unit, focusing on assessment, implementation, and evaluation of adult patient care plans.
**Floating Support:** Maintain a collaborative mindset with the ability to support Surgical Peds or Transitional Care units based on facility census.
**Technical Proficiency:** Utilize **Meditech EMR**, Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
**Interdisciplinary Teamwork:** Work alongside a diverse healthcare team to achieve the best possible outcomes in a fast-paced setting.

**📋 Highlighted Requirements:**

- **Experience:** Minimum **3 to 5 years of recent Med-Surg experience** is mandatory.
- **Licensure:** Must have an active **Hawaii RN License** by the start of the assignment (apply immediately upon offer acceptance).
- **Certs:** Current **AHA BLS** is mandatory; **ACLS** is highly preferred.
- **Flexibility:** Must be able to work various shift lengths and days with no specific shift preference guaranteed.
- **Onboarding:** All credentials must be finalized and uploaded 5 business days prior to your start date.
