📋 Position Details:
Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D) / Obstetrics

Location: Lewistown, MT (Central Montana Medical Center)

Schedule: 36 hours per week | 12-hour Night Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Contract: 13 Weeks

Start Date: March 16, 2026

Pay: Estimated $2,646 per week (Taxable + Stipends)

🩺 Key Clinical Responsibilities:
Maternal-Fetal Monitoring: Interpret fetal monitoring strips and assess labor progression with high clinical accuracy.

Labor Management: Assist with vaginal deliveries, prepare patients for operative deliveries (C-sections), and manage prenatal complications (preterm labor, hypertension).

Newborn Stabilization: Provide initial stabilization for newborns; CMMC has a Level I nursery but can manage minor respiratory or feeding issues (Level II capabilities).

Education & Support: Provide postpartum education, breastfeeding support, and emotional guidance to new families.

Emergency Response: Act quickly and effectively in obstetric emergencies, maintaining NRP and STABLE standards.

🩺 Requirements:
Experience: Must have strong experience in both Labor & Delivery and general Obstetrics.

Licensure: Active Montana RN License is required (MT is a compact state).

Certifications:

NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

STABLE (Stabilization of Newborns for Transport)

BLS (AHA)

Skills: Proficiency in electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) and cervical exams within the scope of practice.
