Description
🌴 Travel ER RN | Kealakekua, HI (Big Island) | Start 3/2/2026 🌴
Join the team at Kona Community Hospital, a 94-bed acute care facility nestled in the hills of Kealakekua. This 13-week assignment offers a high-paying island adventure in a community-focused Emergency Department.
✨ Why You’ll Love This Assignment:
🏝️ Tropical Upcountry Living: Located at a cooler elevation on the Kona Coast, Kealakekua offers stunning ocean views, historic coffee farms, and proximity to some of the island's best snorkeling at Kealakekua Bay.
🏥 High-Volume, High-Impact: As a Level III Trauma Center, you’ll manage a diverse patient population (pediatrics through geriatrics) with an annual volume of approximately 22,000 visits.
⚖️ Balanced Pay: A weekly gross of $3,030 (taxable + stipends) is exceptionally strong for the Hawaii market, helping to offset the island's higher cost of living.
🌊 Adventure Awaits: Your 36-hour weekly schedule (3x12s) gives you 4 days off to explore Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, white sand beaches, and the vibrant town of Kailua-Kona.
