Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 38-40 hours per week | Sunday – Thursday, Tuesday – Saturday, or Monday – Friday
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,060.00 ($660.00 Taxable + $1,400.00 Non-Taxable Stipends)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and adaptable Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment at a dynamic skilled nursing facility (SNF) in Salinas, CA. The PT will be responsible for evaluating patient needs and implementing individualized treatment plans designed to improve mobility, strength, and overall functional independence. This role is ideal for a clinician who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering high-quality rehabilitative care in the heart of Monterey County.
Non-Negotiable Required Qualifications:
Please note: Candidates who do not meet 100% of the following criteria will not be considered for this role.
Licensure: Ability to obtain and maintain an active Physical Therapist (PT) license for the State of California (License required upon acceptance).
Experience: Open to early-career professionals (01-02 year of experience required).
Certification: Current BLS/BCLS certification is strictly required.
Clinical Skills: Strong documentation and time-management skills are essential.
Mindset: Must possess a flexible and collaborative mindset to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluations & Treatment: Evaluate and treat patients within a Skilled Nursing Facility setting, developing goal-oriented plans to enhance functional independence.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with the nursing and therapy teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
Documentation: Complete all clinical notes and records in the Net Health EMR system according to facility and regulatory standards.
Clinical Flexibility: Demonstrate adaptability by potentially floating to a sister facility within walking distance if required by facility volume.
Holiday Coverage: Provide mandatory holiday coverage as required by the facility schedule.
Important Assignment Notes:
Schedule Preference: Preference will be given to candidates willing to work a Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday schedule.
