Travel Med-Surg/Telemetry RN | Zanesville, OH | $2,326/week
Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Start Date: March 16, 2026 (Only start date available unless you are a returning traveler within the last 9 months)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 36 hours per week | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend required
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,326.00 ($1,080 Taxable + $1,246 Non-Taxable Stipends)

Position Overview:
A healthcare facility in Zanesville, OH, is seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will work primarily on the Respiratory unit, which includes caring for COVID-19 patients. Candidates must be flexible and prepared to float occasionally between various Med-Surg units, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED boarders.Non-

Negotiable Required Qualifications:
Please note: Candidates who do not meet 100% of the following criteria will not be considered for this role.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience.
License: Active Ohio (OH) RN License.
Certification: Active BLS.
EMR Proficiency: Current and proven proficiency in Epic EMR. Refresher classes or 1:1 support are NOT options; proficiency must be documented in the referral.
Skill Competency: Mastery of Telemetry reading. Candidates will be tested on day one; failure to pass the competency will result in immediate termination.
Zero Tolerance Policy: Contracts will be terminated immediately if the clinician is found to be non-proficient in Epic or fails the day-one Telemetry test.

Key Responsibilities:
Respiratory Care: Provide expert nursing care for patients on the Respiratory unit, including specialized protocols for COVID-19 patients.
Unit Adaptability: Demonstrate clinical excellence while floating across diverse Med-Surg units (Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, etc.) as facility needs dictate.
Telemetry Monitoring: Vigilantly monitor and interpret telemetry for high-acuity patients, responding immediately to clinical status changes.
Documentation: Maintain accurate, real-time electronic medical records within the Epic system, ensuring compliance with all facility and state regulations.
Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure safe patient transitions during floating assignments.

Start Date: March 16th is the ONLY offered start date for new travelers.
Call: There is no call requirement for this position.
Floating: This position requires a high degree of adaptability to work across multiple specialized Med-Surg settings.
