Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) | Lawton, OK | $2,160/week
Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 40 hours per week | Days (M–F) | Some Weekends Required
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,160.00 ($920.00 Taxable + $1,240.00 Non-Taxable Stipends)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13-week travel assignment in Lawton, OK. This role is primarily based in an acute care setting, with the clinical flexibility to float to the inpatient rehabilitation unit as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician looking to gain diverse experience within a supportive healthcare environment while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Non-Negotiable Required Qualifications:
Please note: Candidates who do not meet 100% of the following criteria will not be considered for this role.
Licensure: Ability to obtain and maintain an active Occupational Therapist (OT) license for the State of Oklahoma (License required upon acceptance).
Experience: Open to early-career professionals (less than 1 year of experience required).
EMR Proficiency: Verifiable proficiency with the Allscripts EMR system is preferred.
Traveler Status: Candidate must be a non-local traveler (typically residing more than 50 miles from the facility).

Key Responsibilities:
Acute Care Therapy: Evaluate and treat patients within the acute care setting, developing individualized plans to improve functional independence and self-care skills.
Inpatient Rehab Float: Demonstrate clinical versatility by floating to the inpatient rehabilitation unit to support patient volume and specialized care needs.
Clinical Execution: Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions and observe treatment effects, recommending changes to the medical team as necessary.
Documentation: Maintain accurate, real-time medical records using the Allscripts system in compliance with facility and state regulations.
Holiday Coverage: Provide mandatory holiday coverage as required by the facility schedule.

Important Assignment Notes:
Dress Code: Professional appearance is required. Staff wear either red scrubs or khaki pants paired with a red polo shirt.
Schedule: The standard schedule is Monday through Friday with a requirement to work some weekends.
Scope of Work: While this description indicates the general nature of the work, the clinician must be adaptable to additional duties as requested by clinical leadership to meet patient care needs.
