Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) | Hermiston, OR | $2,470/week
Location: Hermiston, Oregon
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 36 hours per week | Day Shift
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,470.00 ($1,224.00 Taxable + $1,246.00 Non-Taxable Stipends)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly professional and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Hermiston, OR. The RRT will be responsible for the specialized care and treatment of patients presenting with respiratory and cardiac illnesses. This role requires a clinician who can provide expert intervention and support across a diverse patient population with clinical precision.
Non-Negotiable Required Qualifications:
Please note: Candidates who do not meet 100% of the following criteria will not be considered for this role.
Licensure: Must hold and maintain an active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in the state of Oregon.
Certification: A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is strictly required.
Academic Foundation: High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required.
Clinical Knowledge: Proven competency and knowledge relative to the treatment of acute and chronic respiratory and cardiac conditions.
Traveler Status: Candidate must be a non-local traveler (typically residing more than 50 miles from the facility).
Key Responsibilities:
Respiratory Care: Provide comprehensive care and treatment for all assigned patients with respiratory-cardiac illness.
Clinical Execution: Execute physician-ordered treatments and diagnostic tests with accuracy and clinical oversight.
Equipment Operation: Set up and operate diverse respiratory therapy equipment for the treatment and diagnosis of respiratory conditions.
Patient Assessment: Monitor patient response to therapy and adjust care plans in collaboration with the medical team.
Professional Standards: Maintain the level of work required for high-performance clinical care, ensuring all safety and regulatory standards are met.
