Location: Hawaii
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Varied Day/Evening Shifts | Average 3 days of call per month
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,550.00 ($1,000.00 Taxable + $1,550.00 Non-Taxable Stipends)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly professional and independent Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in beautiful Hawaii. This role is designed for an expert who demonstrates mastery in the operation of radiographic equipment and is capable of functioning independently without direct supervision. The successful candidate will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and clinical precision.
Non-Negotiable Required Qualifications:
Please note: Candidates who do not meet 100% of the following criteria will not be considered for this role.
Licensure: Must hold a current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer. Any traveler not currently in possession of this license must apply immediately upon acceptance of offer and must have the license in hand by the start of the assignment.
Certification: A current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are strictly required.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
Clinical Mastery: Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the operation of radiographic equipment and radiation safety protocols.
Safety Requirements: Must possess and maintain a current dosimeter badge.
Key Responsibilities:
Radiographic Operation: Function independently to set up and operate diverse radiographic equipment for diagnosis and treatment.
Radiation Safety: Execute all procedures in strict accordance with radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
Technical Proficiency: Utilize advanced equipment including Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, and Konica DR to deliver high-quality imaging.
System Documentation: Maintain precise clinical records using EMR systems (Meditech and Epic experience preferred).
On-Call Support: Participate in a varied schedule that includes an average of 3 days of call per month.
