Location: Great Falls, Montana
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 36 hours per week | Day Shift
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,182.00 ($936.00 Taxable + $1,246.00 Non-Taxable Stipends)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a professional and adaptable Med-surg Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Great Falls, MT. This facility features an attractive 5:1 patient-to-staff ratio, allowing for high-quality, patient-centered care. In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care for pediatric and adult patients before and after surgical procedures, as well as those with a broad range of medical conditions, ensuring effective delivery from admission to discharge.
Non-Negotiable Required Qualifications:
Please note: Candidates who do not meet 100% of the following criteria will not be considered for this role.
Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license for the State of Montana (or active Compact/Multistate license).
Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
Experience: 3+ years Verifiable experience in a Med-surg hospital setting. Must have the ability to assess and implement established policies with minimal supervision.
Traveler Status: Candidate must be a non-local traveler (typically residing more than 50 miles from the facility).
Key Responsibilities:
Nursing Process: Utilize assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation to deliver expert care for a diverse patient population.
Collaborative Care: Work closely with professional disciplines, patients, and families to ensure desired outcomes and maintain professional nursing standards.
Surgical & Medical Support: Provide high-level care for patients undergoing surgical procedures and those with complex medical diagnoses.
Clinical Leadership: Act as a clinical leader on the unit, assisting with the precepting of staff and ensuring efficient patient flow.
Discharge Planning: Manage all aspects of the patient journey within the hospital and ambulatory service center, including comprehensive discharge coordination.
Important Assignment Notes:
Team Direction: The RN is responsible for giving direction to LPNs, CNAs, housekeeping, and dietary staff to ensure a clean and supportive care environment.
Supervision: Clinicians receive direction from Providers, Charge Nurses, the Acute Care Director, and the CNO.
Scope of Work: The clinician must be adaptable to additional duties as requested by leadership to meet shifting patient care needs.
