Looking for a true island adventure with top-tier compensation? This position in Waimea (the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific") offers a unique clinical challenge in a 4-bed unit where you are the heartbeat of the critical care team.

💰 Exceptional Pay: $3,246.00 Gross Weekly ($540 Taxable + $2,706 Stipend)

🏝️ Location: Experience the breathtaking natural beauty of Kauai.

⚖️ Patient Ratio: 1:1 or 1:2 (A second nurse is called in if you have a vent + 1 other patient).

🔄 Clinical Variety: Covers ICU, CCU, and after-hours PACU recovery.

🩺 Role Highlights:
Critical Care Coordination: Provide age-appropriate care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with serious respiratory or cardiac conditions.

PACU Recovery: Act as the primary recovery nurse for surgical patients after-hours.

Multi-Unit Support: Must be willing to float to OB, Med-Surg, and ER to assist based on your competency level.

Comprehensive Orientation: Includes HR hospital orientation and 2–4 shifts of hands-on unit orientation (Days/Nights) with a staff RN.

📋 Mandatory Requirements:
⚠️ Shift Commitment: Must work 80 hours every 2 weeks—no exceptions.

📅 Flexibility: Must be open to working any shift as needed.

Experience: Strong ICU/CCU background; Emergency Room experience is highly recommended.

Licensure: Active Hawaii (HI) RN License.

Competency: Ability to complete an orientation/competency binder immediately upon hire.

Contract: 13-Week Assignment

Unit: 4-Bed / 4-Room ICU/CCU
