Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join a rural hospital setting. The ideal candidate must be comfortable managing the full spectrum of obstetric care, including antepartum, labor & delivery, postpartum, and nursery.

This role requires a highly skilled nurse who can work independently in a low-volume setting (approximately 20–30 deliveries per month) while maintaining high-quality patient care standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive care for antepartum, labor, postpartum, and nursery patients
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery
Assist with and circulate for OB procedures (preferred)
Deliver newborn care immediately after birth
Educate patients and families on postpartum and newborn care
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Requirements:
Active RN license (must be in good standing)
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
Must be experienced in full L&D care (postpartum-only candidates will not be considered)
Certifications Required:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
STABLE Certification
Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
Additional Information:
Experience in OB circulating preferred
Ability to work in a rural healthcare setting with limited resources
Holiday coverage may be required
